According to Rolls-Royce, three out of four (or 75 percent) customers of the Phantom and Ghost models customize their ride with at least one bespoke element. Being that the British brand is celebrating its 10th anniversary under the loving arms of the BMW Group, it decided to combine the two and present a one-off edition of the Phantom named the Celestial at the Frankfurt Motor Show.

The inspiration comes from the fact that Rolls-Royce passed into the hands of BMW at midnight on January 1st, 2003, so the company’s designers went for night sky look, both outside, and even more so, inside the cabin.

The dark exterior color scheme evokes the night sky integrating fine glass particles into the paint, while the interior of the special Phantom Extended Wheelbase welcomes its passengers with a new take on Starlight Headline.

“The constellations, exactly as they were at midnight on that historic evening are represented by over a thousand fibre optic lights hand-woven into the Celestial Phantom’s headlining,” states Rolls-Royce.

Other notable details include the special engraving to the alloy wheel centers, an uplit Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, and a new interpretation of the brand’s picnic set.
