Nissan has added some premium features to the European market Navara pickup that enhance comfort and make it look a drop more premium.

Based on the range topping LE trim level, the SV (special version) adds Alcantara and leather trim on the interior, with the center part of the seats covered in Alcantara and featuring an embossed Nissan logo, while the side bolsters, headrests, armrest, gearshift and handbrake surrounds and door inserts are all covered in double-stitched leather.

The exterior has a slightly more dynamic appearance thanks to the addition of 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome rings around the front fog lamps and a tough steel bar at the front.

Standard equipment also includes roof rails, rear facing camera, privacy glass, satellite navigation and heated seats. The premium satellite navigation/communication system features a 40GB hard drive, 7-inch touch screen along with Bluetooth connectivity for mobile phones and music streaming.

The Nissan Navara LE SV is only available as a five-seat/four-door Double Cab model with a choice of two diesel engines, depending on the market. There’s either the 2.5-liter four-cylinder dCi unit developing 187 hp (190PS) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque or the 3.0-liter V6 diesel with 228 hp (231PS) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. CO2 emissions range from 222 g/km to 250 g/km.

The four-cylinder engine is available with the choice of six-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmissions, while the V6 comes as standard with a seven-speed automatic gearbox.
