Ferrari F12berlinetta Blows its Horn on the Laguna Seca Track

Launched in 2012, the Ferrari F12berlinetta is not exactly a new car. But who would let a minor detail like that get in the way of taking an F12 for a test drive? The folks at Motor Trend magazine didn’t – and that’s a good thing, since their video offers a great opportunity to hear the spine-tingling symphony of the engine’s 12 angry cylinders.

Obviously, the testers were stunned by the F12’s sheer acceleration, although they found a bit of a contradiction between the car’s GT credentials and the racy engine and steering that keeps the driver constantly on his/her toes (and fingers, we may add).

You can find out what more they had to say about the Ferrari in the 10-minute-long video below. If you don’t have that much time you can skip to the 7:10 minute mark to watch the Ferrari F12 set a hot lap on the scenic Laguna Seca circuit.

Just make sure the volume is up so you can enjoy the truly intoxicating sounds produced by the 730hp 6.2-liter V12 engine.
