The Zenos E10, the new sports car vision of former Caterham boss Ansar Ali, is taking shape nicely. The renderings we are seeing are becoming more and more detailed, and now, for the first time, we can get a definitive look the E10, a car that looks similar in philosophy to its rivals, as well as the new Caterham AeroSeven concept.

It’s the first of three cars the company plans to make, but to me it looks like the most focused and hardcore of the models.

It promises to be very fast, with its featherweight body and 200 hp (naturally aspirated two-liter) petrol engine, sprinting past the benchmark speed of 100 km/h / 62 mph an estimated 4.5 seconds after setting off. A limited-slip differential will reportedly be optionally-available, as will uprated adjustable suspension, brakes and carbon fiber trinkets.

Of course, it all won’t come cheap, despite the modest power output, this will be sold as a serious (and expensive) performance machine. We will learn its price sometime next year when it’s also planned to publicly show it off for the first time. Until then, the two new photos can be found below.
