Welcome to today’s guessing game, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz’s high-performance AMG arm, which released the above cropped photo of an upcoming new model together with the following message:
“Want to take a glimpse into the future? Over the next few days we will uncover a new member of the AMG family, bit by bit. This first picture shows a front splitter made of visible carbon. Any idea what is coming?”

For what it’s worth, the lower bumper vents seen in the teaser look similar to those of the SLS AMG, which we will remind you, is rumored to appear in a new Final Edition guise at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.
