Spied: Audi Preparing to Freshen Up the A7 Sportback

Our spy photographers have just grabbed a few shots of Audi‘s elegant rival to the BMW 6-Series Gran Coupe and Mercedes-Benz CLS, the A7 Sportback, with half of its body clad in camouflage, which means only one thing: there’s a facelift brewing.

They only managed to get pictures of the A7’s rear end and profile (before having to…leave), in which we see the new and more integrated exhaust tips, revised tail lamp cluster and graphics – and lets not forget, the larger than life, third stop light that takes up the entire width of the rear hatch.

The rest of the changes remain unknown, but Audi may follow a similar recipe with the facelifted A8 luxury sedan gifting the A7 with improved engines, new tech features such as the Matrix LED headlights along with minor interior updates to keep the car relevant in the market.
