What do a new Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG and a Nissan 200SX race drifter have in common other than that they are both moved by turbo-charged engines driving the rear wheels?

Well, they are both controlled via a steering wheel and pedals and have four tires, but seriously, the only other thing we can think of is that, given the opportunity, a true gear head would want to drift either car, which is precisely what AutoExpress magazine did.

The Nissan 200SX racer comes with a highly-tuned 2.0-liter turbocharged four good for 520hp and 480Nm (354 lb-ft) of torque while tipping the scales at a featherweight 990kg (2,183 lbs).

On the other…two hands, the latest Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG sports a mighty 5.5-liter bi-turbo V8 twisting out 577hp (585PS) and 900 Nm (663 lb-ft), but weighs in at just under two tonnes (1,995kg or 4,398 lbs).
