Ferrari LaFerrari Butts Heads with a Truck

The more miles you do the more chances you have of being involved in an accident, regardless if we’re talking about a regular production car in the hands of private owners or a prototype driven by company engineers, which seems to be the case here with the red Ferrari LaFerrari that was rear-ended by a truck in Mantua, Italy.

If it where any regular car, it wouldn’t be a big deal, but let’s not forget that this is a rare €1.3 million (approximately US$1.8 million at the current exchange rates not including taxes) Italian exotic, which would explain the posture of the man leaning on the lorry that hit the LaFerrari.

You see, even if the damage is small, replacing and/or fixing the rear quarter of such a vehicle will cost the truck’s insurer a small…fortune.
