Here’s one more take on what the imminent future holds for the Audi TT series, as we count the weeks before Ingolstadt officials head to the Geneva International Motor Show for the sporty coupe’s grand premiere.

It is the work of Remco Meulendijk, who evidently took under consideration the spy shots of tightly wrapped prototypes and Audi’s Allroad Shooting Brake Concept from the 2014 Detroit auto show to design what you see pictured here.

It looks a lot like the old one, doesn’t it? Well, we think so. We have to assume Audi’s goal from the beginning was to retain the TT’s familiar shape and sprinkle it with some more aggressive, or manlier, if you will, styling lines, much like sister brand VW did with the last generation of the New Beetle.

European sales of the 2015MY TT will start sometime this summer with other markets around the globe to follow.
