New 2015 Acura TLX’s Transition from Concept to Rendered Production Form is Subtle

This was probably one of the easiest jobs ever for automotive photo manipulator X-Tomi. What he did here was change the color of the Acura TLX concept from the 2014 Detroit motor show, and changed details like the rims, headlights and badges to create something that is very close to what the official production-spec car will look like.

The above remark is not meant to have nevative connotations, as there really wasn’t that much to do be done on it, and calling it a concept was a bit of a stretch for Acura in the first place.

Personally, I am not a fan of the almost shield-like grille finished in chrome, and they should choose something else to hold the badge – hopefully there will be trim levels/packs that will enable buyers to specify an alternate design.
