Ladies and gents, we have the first official imagery of the highly anticipated 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 that hit the web ahead of the performance model’s world premiere at the 2014 Detroit motor Show on Monday.

It’s a very aggressive styling take over the regular Stingray with a multitude of aero bits ranging from front lip spoiler that connects to new front wheel arch extensions, protruding side skirts, a rear deck lid spoiler.

The rear fenders also seem wider and now host air vents in front of the wheels, while other cues we spotted is the blacked out hood scoop section, a new front grille, smoked headlamps, bigger alloy wheels finished in black.

A quick look inside reveals some trim changes and a flat-bottom steering wheel, while the Z06 will no doubt get the just announced Performance Data Recorder.

As mentioned in an earlier post, the Z06 will get its grunt from a new supercharged V8 that will deliver 620 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque (or possibly even more, according to some new sources).
