It seems we can’t escape the current German fad of freestanding infotainment and navigation systems, which most of the times, appear like an afterthought (or an aftermarket thought, take your pick), though, we should note that Audi is proposing a new solution with its next TT.

Back to our topic, it’s the 2015 (or 2016MY) Mercedes-Benz CLS series of sedans and Shooting Brake that will feature the aforementioned screen setup along with some other cosmetic tweaks.

More specifically, on the inside, our spy photos of a prototype CLS sedan reveal new buttons on the center console and a redesigned steering wheel, while on the outside, the camouflaged sections suggest changes to the sport model’s fascia, front and rear light clusters, and the rear bumper.

We could also see some updated tech features and revisions to the drivetrain.
