The Brits love building and driving sports cars and that can be seen in the relatively high number of companies building fast cars in the country. We have all heard of companies like Aston Martin, McLaren, Lotus, Caterham and Morgan, but besides these well-established names, the UK has seen a new breed of sports car manufacturers rising in recent years.
Names like Ariel, BAC, Caparo and Radical all have something in common: they are competing to build the ultimate car for the track. But how does one start a company like that? To find the answer, XCAR visited the Briggs brothers, founders of the latest company to emerge on the scene, BAC.
As one would expect, the makers of the Mono street legal single-seater are hardcore car enthusiasts, having spent their childhoods on Britain’s racetracks and rally stages with their father, a big motorsport fan. Growing up in such an environment made the two brothers want to get involved, but how did their desire materialize into BAC? You’ll have to watch the interview to find out.
