With the U.S. launch of the new generation 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and its longer Suburban sibling imminent, Callaway is preparing to welcome future owners of the big SUVs with the announcement of a tuning package that revolves around a supercharged boost for GM’s EcoTec3 V8 that is the only engine on offer for the two models.

The addition of an Eaton TVS Roots-style supercharger along with a new complete exhaust system and a liquid-to-air intercooler, lifts output and peak torque from 355hp and 383 lb-ft (519Nm) to 450hp and 450 lb-ft (609Nm) respectively.

The limited edition package also includes embroidered headrests and floor mats, a Callaway key fob, badging inside and out, and a unique numbered plate.

For that, Callaway is asking a hefty $17,395 on top of the price for the Tahoe that starts from $45,995 for the LS 2WD model and rises to $62,995 for the LTZ AWD (the 2015 Suburban’s prices range from $48,295 for the 2WD LS to $65,695 for the LTZ AWD), excluding a $995 delivery fee.
