A sales ad popped up on TradeUniqueCars that is offering Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond’s Morgan Aeromax for sale. The car has done only 5,200 miles (8,369 km) since it was hand-beaten into shape, in the year 2008.

The Top Gear star was the car’s first owner, and it now belongs to Chris Vermeulen. It’s one of only 30 right-hand drive examples, out of the total batch of 100 ever built; one of two in Australia where it’s put up for sale now.

For the $239,000 or €174,700 asking price, you get the 4.8-liter BMW-sourced V8 with around 360 hp going to the rear tires through a manual six-speed (or sometimes automatic) gearbox. The car tips the scales at around 1,180 kg, so it hits 62 mph (100 km/h) in just over four seconds.

This very example was also featured in the “Top Gear Supercars: The World’s Fastest Cars” DVD. Photo gallery of the British sports car follows below.
