You’ve already seen photos of the beautiful Volvo Concept Estate, so now it’s time for a video look at the carmaker’s Geneva Motor Show world premiere. While it is true all three of Volvo’s latest concept cars have been spectacular, for me this one ticks all the right boxes.

It’s sleek and elegant, it oozes Scandinavian luxury, but above all, it’s a proper two-door shooting brake, a body style Volvo used to offer in the past.

Obviously, Volvo will think seriously before deciding to build it, as two-door estates aren’t that common nowadays. Still, maybe a four-door production version of the study wouldn’t be too far-fetched.

Derived from the 2013 Volvo Concept Coupe, the Concept Estate’s main production-relevant feature is the interior, which hints at the upcoming XC90 SUV – with the obvious modifications requested by series manufacturing. That’s why two of the following three videos focus on the study’s interior, whose main feature is the user interface, also explained below.
