Obviously, Subaru knew what it was doing by choosing the 2014 Chicago Auto Show for the presentation of the all-new 2015 Legacy, as it is the most, if not the only important world premiere at the McCormick Place. Whether all this attention from the press will place a positive spin on the Legacy, remains to be seen.

We’ve talked a lot about the new Legacy and shared all the initial details as well as a host of photos, but one thing we didn’t have until now were videos.

If you’re itching to see the car on film and on the move, we have you covered with six official clips ranging from a promo movie, to a video that fuses 25 years and six-generations of the series.

The new sedan model will enter the U.S. market this summer, with Subaru anticipating annual sales of around 60,000 units, up from 42,291 last year. To put that number in perspective, the crossover-estate version of the Legacy that is marketed as the Outback sold close to three times as many cars in 2013 with 118,049 units, while Toyota delivered 408,484 Camry sedans and Ford 295,280 Fusions during the same period.

Those numbers kind of make you wonder why Subaru didn’t take a bolder approach with the sedan model, don’t they…
