That's Better: Tuner Plants BMW M235i Face on 1-Series Hatch

Let’s face it, the BMW 1-Series is not a looker and that impression is caused exclusively by the size and shape of its headlights, which make the front end of the car look awkward. But there seems to be a solution.

German aftermarket specialist Individual Cars sensed a business opportunity here and decided to offer a conversion pack that makes the 1-Series look like an M235i Coupe when viewed from the front.

The Augsburg-based company charges €2,999 ($4,111) for the conversion, with the price including material, paint and fitting. Individual Cars says it can transplant the M235i’s face to any current generation 1-Series model, not only the M135i.

The pack can be mounted on both the five-door (F20) and the three-door (F21). That being said, how do you like it? Does the 1-Series look better with the headlights from the 2-Series Coupe?

In my view, the BMW 2-Series face definitely makes the 1-Series more pleasant to the eye.
