Top Gear’s epic drives are some of their most amusing pieces, especially when they use genuine new cars, instead of old bangers with which they hit each other at stoplights.

The odder the location, the more they have to work with, and as you’d imagine, a drive through Ukraine would definitely give them plenty to talk about – except for the first part which is appears to be a dead straight drive through the flattest and dullest of landscapes…

The episode proves previous speculation that the three presenters and their crew were headed up to Sochi, Russia wrong; their destination is a much more northern one, where the best material to make clothes out of is still lead.

Also featured in this week’s hour-long show is UK-based singer-songwriter and musician James Blunt as well as the only Danish supercar, the Zenvo ST-1; Jeremy doesn’t like that one at all, though.

What are your thoughts, if you’ve been quick like us and have already seen it?
