While most Swedes are known to be law-abiding citizens fond of standing in lines, there’s also an underground speeding culture that doesn’t bond well with cops on the road and who express themselves in films about illegal street racing, such as the famed “Getaway in Stockholm” and “Ghost Rider”.

If you haven’t heard, there’s another Swedish film series called “Highway” that’s making the rounds, of which there at least two teaser films on YouTube.

The latest one is said to be from “Highway 2” and it shows a V8-powered Mercedes-Benz C63 sedan fooling around with Swedish cops in a VW Multivan and a Volvo V70, while the same author shared a second clip with an Audi RS4 allegedly being chased by an unmarked police car.

The author with the handle “930205as” says the following about the series on his YouTube account:

“Highway is a car-movie documentary-style, where the point is to make fun of the police. As in movies like Ghost Rider and Getaway in Stockholm is the speed well over the legal. A scene in the movie called “Carlitos Swey” one can clearly see when he runs off eight police cars. This clip got attention in the newspaper in MY, July 2010.

With both cameras rigged inside the car and under the grill, start crazy journey from the Globe Arena in Stockholm. The driver runs out of road 73 and at most is he reside at a speed of 280 km / h.

I really think you should by this movie if you like Ghostrider and Getaway in stockholm movies.”
