It involves granting delivery services access to your car boot via an electronic key that greatly limits the way in which they can interact.
The tech has been made possible thanks to digital keys that “now make it possible to transform the car into a delivery pickup and drop-off zone.” It was recently trialed on a number of 100 people, 86 of which agreed that it was a time and money saving idea that could even be called environmentally friendly, if you push it a bit.
