Citroën has announced pricing for its C4 Cactus crossover in France, and it’s not disappointing at all: the stylish SUV starts from €13,950 ($19,320) in its home market.

For those who don’t want to pay for the burden of ownership, Citroën also offers an all-inclusive lease plan consisting of a flat monthly lease starting from €199 ($276) for three years and 25 percent downpayment – offer corresponding to the C4 Cactus VTi 75 Start base model. The monthly rate includes financing, insurance, assistance and maintenance. In select markets, Citroën also proposes a pay-per-use scheme that adds a pay-per-use rate to the fixed rate.

The Citroën C4 Cactus will be offered with four trim levels (Start, Live, Feel and Shine), all fitted as standard with a 7-inch touch screen for the infotainment system. The crossover will be available with 10 body colors and 4 colors for the Airbumps, for a total of 21 possible combinations.

There are four petrol engine choices (VTi 75, VTi 82, e-VTi 82 et e-THP 110) and two diesels (e-HDi 92 et BlueHDi 100). The latter averages just 3.1 l/100 km (91.1 mpg UK or 75.9 mpg US) and emits 82 g of CO2 per kilometer. Citroën says the C4 Cactus’ operating costs are 10 percent smaller compared to competitors.

Order books have opened on March 12, with deliveries in France starting in June.
