Some may have a hard time pronouncing its name in full, but at least you won’t mistake the Ermini Seiottosei for anything else, even though we don’t necessarily mean that in the kindest of ways…

Making its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show, the Seiottosei is a lightweight two-seater sports car from historic Italian carmaker Ermini.

According to the brand’s release, “Between 1946 and 1955, Ermini built and powered around 40 automobiles, all sports cars that rivalled the likes of Osca and Cisitalia, the more high-profile and powerful Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche and Mercedes models, sometimes, quite incredibly, even managing to beat them”, with the last part referring to its racing accomplishments.

The red-colored open top model shown here makes use of a tubular steel chassis, covered in carbon fiber body panels to keep the curb weight at a low 686kg or 1,512 pounds. For its motivation, the Seiottosei borrows  Renault’s 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine tuned to deliver 320PS or 316hp, allowing the car to hit 100km/h (62mph) from standstill in just 3.5 seconds.

The company didn’t divulge any details on its production plans.
