Just a few months after Fiat rolled out the limited-production “500 1957 Edition” at the 2013 LA Auto Show last November, the Italians are playing the vintage game again at the Geneva Motor Show with a special study paying tribute to the 500 designed by Dante Giacosa, which was presented in Turin on July 4, 1957.

This better looking show car (in the eyes of this author, at least) has a Volare Blue body color that contrasts the white roof, spoiler, antenna and mirror covers, and also comes with a nifty set of 16-inch vintage alloy wheels with light blue chrome.

Fiat’s designers reinterpreted the 500’s interior as well, giving it a two-tone tobacco leather upholstery with ‘half-moon’ seat inserts in ivory, and an ‘open-pore wood’ splash on the dashboard.

The Italian automaker didn’t say if it has any plans to produce the car.
