Here’s the first official shot of Jeep’s entry in the small SUV and crossover segments, the 2015 Renegade, which surfaced online just ahead of its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday.

The single picture of the new Renegade was published on Jalopnik, which says this is likely the trail-rated version of the car adding that it may come with a removable roof.

We know from our report that the Renegade, previously thought to be called “Jeepster” or “Laredo”, is a sister model to the upcoming Fiat 500x crossover, with both cars sharing the Fiat-Chrysler group Small Wide platform architecture utilized on the 500L minivan.

They’ll also have common powertrains, which could include Fiat’s 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline unit, 1.3-liter turbo diesel and possibly even the 0.9-liter TwinAir turbocharged gasoline engine.
