New Toyota Aygo Mini Sneaks Out of the Web

Completing the trio of new city cars from the collaboration between the PSA Peugeot-Citroen group and Toyota is the next generation Toyota Aygo, the first unconcealed photos of which plopped up on the internet today.

Whereas the essential difference between the two French models, the Peugeot 108 and Citroen C1, is each car’s unique front end, with some minor changes to their rear bumpers and tail light graphics, in addition to its pinched front end, Toyota’s version of the co-developed city car further differentiates itself with a different rear-profile window and entire rear end.

Like their predecessors, all three cars will share the same engine lineup and transmissions, including a Toyota-sourced 68PS 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol paired to a 5sp manual and an 82PS 1.2-liter three-pot petrol, and will be built in the Czech Republic.

More information and photos of the Aygo should be available soon as Toyota will present the car at the Geneva Motor Show on Tuesday, March 4.
