Official teaser drawings of a new Citroen small SUV concept emerged on the web today. Little is known at this time about the as-of-yet unnamed study, which has been prepared by Citroen and its Chinese partner Dongfeng for a world premiere at the Beijing Auto Show later this month.

The images, however, do suggest that the Citroen model is directly related to partner company Peugeot’s successful 2008 crossover, which has already sold more than 100,000 units prompting yet another increase in production.

Chances are that Citroen’s concept will lead to a production car for China, if not for global consumption. We’ll know more when the French firm comes out with an official release on the car.
