Since Consumer Reports thoroughly praised the new 2015 Honda Fit in their latest review of the car, we will start by mentioning the negative points they discovered. Firstly, the steering is reportedly noticeably less feelsome than on the old model, and the CVT gearbox that replaces the old five-speed is whiney and unpleasant.

Overall, though, it is better than its predecessor, being more modern, refined and grown up, especially inside where it even gets a soft-touch plastic covered dashboard.

Its party piece is still probably the amount of interior space it offers for its exterior dimensions. It does look a bit like a mini-people mover, but this is on purpose and once you climb aboard you’ll understand why.
