It surely would have been such a shame for this rather nice orange (2003- 2013) Audi S3 to become one with the Nurburgring’s trackside walls. It was pretty close to happening, too, though we can’t really make out if it was divine intervention (like the opposite of all Final Destination movies you’ve seen) or sheer skill on the driver’s side.
It appears as if the driver is coming out of the corner on what does not look like the ideal line at all, then the S3 snaps into oversteer, pushing the front of the car towards the inside. The car then starts spinning, heading towards the wall, yet somehow it spins itself back in the right direction without so much as a scratch.
What do you think? Was it driver skill or sheer chance that saved this S3 and its driver from crashing?
