Watch the Most Exciting Video Summary of the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours

Michelin is not just a tyre manufacturer; it also publishes the Michelin Guide, the place to be for restaurants around the world, and has one of the best online route planners, ViaMichelin. However, judging from this video summary of the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours race, Michelin might as well be a video producer.

It is not your usual video summary that points out the winners and the losers in a statistical kind of way. As Michelin was the official tyre supplier for Porsche, the video focuses on the stories, rivalries and heroes of Porsche’s Le Mans return this year in the top LMP1 category with the 919 Hybrid. It also follows the race of Porsche’s army of 911s involved in the lesser GTE categories.

As you may know, the race didn’t end well for Porsche’s LMP1 racers, with one of them abandoning due to technical problems and the other finishing the race 11th overall. But it truly was a great adventure for all those involved, as you can see from the following video.
