This would be one of the possible outcomes. It’s not necessarily pretty, but then again, neither was the Toyota iQ-based Cygnet… However, it would have definitely made a bigger splash among car reviewers who, generally speaking, completely ignored the actual Aston Martin Cygnet that did get built.

Dubbed the Arguru by its creators at Auto-Projecoes, this one is the digital interpretation of what the third-gen Ford Focus would look like were it to be adorned with Gaydon-sourced trinkets.

The transition for the Focus is not an overly-dramatic one, though, as it already had the grille of an Aston, courtesy of a recent facelift. Even the headlights look like they’re the same shape as those on the series model, but with internal clusters swapped out for Aston ones.

Auto-Projecoes also has a dashboard shot to go along with the altered exterior. It looks much more like the interior of an Aston Martin, though it does retain some of the Ford’s original bits.

This rendering was created purely for fun, and there’s absolutely no chance of it ever happening in real life.
