Already on sale in North America, the facelifted Nissan 370Z Nismo will go on sale in Europe in September. It will be joined by the new model year 370Z with equipment upgrades.

As with the US-spec model, the 370Z Nismo for Europe gets an upgraded exterior featuring a redesigned front bumper with a larger air intake, additional air inlets ahead of the wheel arch and new LED daytime running lights.

Other design touches include the black headlamp bezels, special red Nismo trim at the base of the bumper, redesigned side sill and door mirror, Nismo badging and the new 19-inch Rays alloy wheels finished in black and silver.

At the rear, the smaller rear spoiler works with the new front bumper to create more downforce at speed. Inside, the 370Z Nismo gets new Recaro seats trimmed in red and black leather and Alcantara to match the steering wheel.

Under the hood, the 3.7-liter six-cylinder engine produces 344PS (339hp), 11hp less than the US model, but enough to help the 370Z Nismo sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.2 seconds. Unlike in the US where a 7-speed automatic gearbox is optional, in Europe the 370Z Nismo is offered exclusively with a six-speed manual.

Nissan says modifications have been made to the rear spring and damper rates in order to improve ride comfort, while changes to the carpets and inner rear wheel arch protector have helped reduce road noise.

The rest of the 370Z lineup also gets design and engineering improvements for the 2015 model year, including 18-inch wheels finished in Gun Metallic, new seats and a revised suspension set-up that is said to deliver improved ride quality and reduced cabin noise.
