The 2015 Ford Mustang Passes the Tech Test

Everyone is talking about the performance of the 2015 Ford Mustang, but it’s also the most technologically advanced Mustang ever.

So how does CNET like it? Brian Cooley is here and takes out the nerdiest 2015 Mustang – an Ecoboost automatic. Why nerdy? Well the Ecoboost is that 2.3-liter turbo four, the little engine that’s causing many of the headlines for this new Mustang. And the six-speed automatic version gets the best highway fuel economy. So you can have your horses and sip fuel, too.

Cooley is favorable towards the performance, but says the biggest story is the another piece of tech in the 2015 Mustang, the independent rear suspension, which greatly improves the ride and handling in a way that sounds like it makes everyday driving better and not just track days.

And in another move to bring the car into the 21st century, the Mustang finally has a USB port and the MyFord Touch isn’t that bad now.

The times, they are changing.
