Five years after launching the Venga at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show, Kia has revealed an updated version of its small MPV at the 2014 Paris Auto Show.

The mild facelift brings the appearance of the Venga in line with Kia’s other products.

It doe so by giving it a new front “tiger grille”, a redesigned bumper incorporating combined fog lights and LED daytime running lights, new rear light clusters with LEDs that are joined by horizontal chrome trim, and newly available 16- and 17-inch alloy wheel styles.

Inside, Kia made changes to the dashboard trim, the seat upholsteries and the center stack, while adding some new options such as the heated steering wheel and its latest infotainment system with a 7.0-inch display screen, rear-view camera, improved processing speed and faster route calculation.

The 4-meter long MPV will be offered with a choice of up to six 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter gasoline and diesel engines, producing between 77PS and 128PS (76hp and 126hp), which drive the front wheels through five- or six-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmissions.

Sales of the refreshed 2015 Venga will start early next year.
