Take this with a few grains of salt, but a Spanish publication claims to have obtained an allegedly official document for the new Opel Corsa that lists a 210PS 1.6-liter turbo’d engine in its future.

The paper from Actualidadmotor doesn’t name the model, but evidently, the engine would be used on the upcoming Opel Corsa OPC or Vauxhall Corsa VXR for the British Isles.

The previous model also featured a 1.6-liter force-fed four that delivered 189hp (192PS) in base trim and 207hp (210PS) in the limited run OPC Nürburgring Edition that could run to 100km/h in 6.8 seconds and reach a top speed of 230km/h (148mph).

We should see the new Corsa OPC make its online appearance in the coming months ahead of a world premiere at next year’s Geneva Motor Show.

H/T to Iñigo Ocho!
