Francois Gissy continues to push the limits on his rocket-powered bicycle with the Frenchman breaking his own speed record while also humiliating a Ferrari F430 Scuderia.

The Italian supercar stood no chance against the skinny bicycle that launched like…a rocket reaching a top speed of 333km/h (207 mph) in a few blinks of an eye or 4.8 seconds after travelling around 250 meters (820 feet).

Gissy said the bicycle, designed by his friend Arnold Neracher and built by Exotic Thermo Engineering, runs the quarter mile (402 meters) in less than 7 seconds.

He also told Gizmag that he’s far from done and hopes to reach an even higher top speed.

“If we can find some serious sponsors, then we would like to build a monstrous bicycle, which will be called “Spine Crusher.” The goal would be to accelerate to more than 400 km/h (249 mph) in less than two seconds. I just cross my fingers that we will have the green light soon in order to start the construction. But it doesn’t depend on me,” he told the site.
