As promised earlier this year, TechArt has released a power kit for the diesel-fueled version of Porsche’s new Macan SUV.

Dubbed TA B95/SD1, the performance package includes an electronic module for the Macan S Diesel’s 3.0-liter V6 that lifts output from 255hp (258PS) and 580Nm (428 lb-ft) to 296hp (300PS) and 670Nm (494 lb-ft) respectively.

It all happens at a touch of a button, or to be precise, through the Sport and Sport Plus controls, which enable TechArt’s new engine management system. In regular mode, the Macan S Diesel runs on Porsche’s stock ECU program.

When operating in Sport Plus mode, the Macan S Diesel hits 100km/h (62mph) from standstill in 5.7 seconds (standard model: 6.1 seconds) and 160km/h (100mph) in 15.7 seconds (standard model: 16.5 seconds), while top speed increases by 7km/h (4.4mph) to 237km/h (147mph).

The German tuner also offers a full array of styling and chassis upgrades for the diesel Macan.
