While they may be similar(ish) versions of very different cars, MotorTrend argues there’s definitely something to compare between a Porsche 911 GT3 and a Chevy Camaro Z/28.

Sure, the American car is more powerful and has wider front tires, but the Porsche would still run rings around it.

That’s mainly down to the fact that it is lighter and more agile, while at the same time featuring four-wheel steering and the cleverest of electronics. The Camaro is much slower and heavier in a dash to sixty mph, taking nearly a second longer to get there…

Even so, the Z/28 is considerably cheaper, and if you’re not an all-out racer, you might enjoy it more. It’s still a track honed machine, even if it’s not up to Porsche standards no matter how much they’d try.
