The biggest news from Chrysler during the 2015 Detroit auto show press days was a…post on their FCA Corporate Twitter account saying that the next Chrysler “minivan will be seen in January 2016”.

As pointed out by Autoblog.com, that and the fact they included the “NAIAS” hashtag, suggests that we’ll see Chrysler’s new minivan at the 2016 Detroit Auto Show.

Back in October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, FCA boss Sergio Marchionne said that the next next-generation Chrysler Town & Country minivan, which will offer a plug-in hybrid version for the first time, would launch in late 2015.

In the ever-changing world of Fiat-Chrysler, one can never be sure, but since we’re not aware of any other minivan in Chrysler’s immediate future, we’re guessing that the two statements concern the same model.
