Jay Leno has an entire section of his garage dedicated to old French cars in general and Citroens in particular. Out of his collection, it seems that the Citroen SM is his favorite, although he does like his DS a lot, as you’ll probably be able to tell after watching his review of it.

His example was built in 1971, so it was getting close to the end of production. Leno has fitted it with the air-con unit out of a wrecked newer 1972 model, but aside from that the car’s completely stock.

All important features of the car are demonstrated: he shows off the hydraulics, suspension, easy tire changing, smooth ride and its design quirks. He even says it’s not actually a bad handling thing on twisty roads, and that you actually have to get used to it and it actually steers just fine.
