A pumped-up Lamborghini Aventador with the SV moniker written on its sides was spotted in the wild and it appears to be the real deal.

From what we can see, the new Aventador SV wears a much more aggressive aero agenda with a monstrous rear diffuser complimented by a fixed rear wing instead of the retractable one the standard version uses. Bigger, center-lock wheels with wider tyres complete the package, making the already intimidating Aventador look like Lucifer’s personal ride.

SV stands for Super Veloce and it’s reserved only for the finest of specimens in the Lamborghini V12 family tree. The Miura, Diablo and Murcielago have already been treated to the SV recipe with the latter producing 670PS from its 6.5-litre V12, 30 more horses than standard while its weight was reduced by 100kg or about 220 pounds.

A similar raise in power is expected as well as a similar carbon fiber diet. If we have to speculate, our best guess is that the power of the new Aventador SV will be somewhere in the region of 750-760hp.

Judging by how finished the car looks like on the photos, it is safe to assume that the hottest Aventador to date is ready for production. Lamborghini is planning to unveil the car at the upcoming Geneva show in March but after this major leak, they might have to reveal all the details sooner than expected.

If the ‘normal’ Aventador is capable of spitting fires out of its exhaust, we can only imagine what this monster can do.
