Driving a 542hp, V10-powered Audi R8 Plus on some of Italy’s twisty mountain roads on a sunny day must rank as a heck of a drive, right?

It sure does. Especially when you’re following a Ferrari F12berlinetta and a Porsche 918 Spyder; an excellent company, if ever there was one, never mind that you’re seriously outgunned by your 730hp Italian and 887hp German hybrid companions.

Vlogger Shmee150, who was driving the R8, must have had a blast trailing those two hypercars. It was just a ride, not a race of some kind, but the way the Porsche left the Audi for dead in even the shortest of straights is mind-boggling.

The F12 is, for the most part, in front of the pack so it doesn’t get that much time on camera. Its navigation system managed to get the trio in some kind of trouble when it directed them through some very narrow countryside passes that the extra-wide 918 somehow managed to negate without getting a scratch on that beautiful carbon body.

You can see both videos, i.e. the mountain pass chase and the trio getting lost right after the virtual jump.
