Fiat will launch a more rugged Trekking version for the Doblò at the Geneva Motor Show, aimed at customers who occasionally like to drive their cars on unpaved roads.

Available in the coming months, the Fiat Doblò Trekking features a more rugged appearance, as well as a 10mm raised height and the Traction+ system. The latter is a traction control system said to increase vehicle drive on difficult terrains with poor grip.

Styling upgrades for the Trekking version include special side molding with the Trekking logo, new 16-inch alloy wheels, new front and rear bumpers as well as an under-engine guard. The Doblò Trekking also debuts a new body color, Bronzo Magnetico.

Inside, Trekking models offer a new dashboard variant with an eco-leather treatment, new seats in fabric and eco-leather with double stitching and the new door panels also in eco-leather. The model also features an open compartment located high up, both in the central area as well as in the rear area of the vehicle, which can be reached both from the boot as well as from the rear seats.

Optional extras include rear parking sensors, cruise control, leather steering wheel with radio controls, leather gearbox cover, roof rails and the 5-inch Uconnect multimedia system with navigation.
