The Audi A1 is one of the coolest little cars you can buy. Fortunately, it’s also one of the most environmentally friendly at just 97 g/km CO2.

If you want mother nature to write you a ‘thank you‘ note, you probably should consider this Audi A1 1.0 TFSI, with its 95 PS three-cylinder engine and 160 Nm of torque.

Mated to either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission, this little engine helps the A1 reach 62 mph in 10.9 seconds – which goes for both the three-door as well as the five-door versions. You also get a combined 67.3 MPG (4.2 liters per 100 km) which is pretty spectacular and kind of makes you stop stressing out about whether to buy a diesel or a petrol car.

You can buy the new three-cylinder Audi A1 TFSI in conjunction with either SE or Sport specification, both options including alloy wheels, remote central locking, air conditioning, electric front windows and mirrors and a six-speaker single CD audio system with auxiliary iPod connection linked to a 6.5-inch retractable display.

Other key upgrades for the Sport specification include the Audi Music Interface and preparation for SD card-based navigation. Plus other features such as 16″ alloys, sports suspension, sports seats, Bluetooth mobile phone preparation and a Driver’s Information System.

The 1.0 liter TFSI Audi A1 is priced from £14,315 as a three-door 5-speed manual SE spec version, and £16,290 for the Sport version. The Sportback model will cost you an extra £620 for both versions, while if you want to add the optional S tronic transmission, you’ll need to pay another £1,540.
