Nissan announced their European sales for the first month of the new year, standing at 57,332 units, with an improved market share of 4.1%.

The numbers surpass those from January 2014, where Nissan sold 48,560 cars, representing a market share of 3.9%. January 2015 was also Nissan’s best ever month regarding their sales in France, with 5,866 units leaving the dealerships – a 30% bump versus 2014.

There has also been a massive 78% sales rise in Spain, with 4,072 units sold in comparison with January 2014. The numbers have been better across the board basically, which is great news for the Japanese manufacturer.

The top 5 European markets for January 2015 have been the UK, Russia, France, Germany and Italy in precisely this order. UK sales have tipped the scale at 11,002.

As expected, Nissan’s most popular model remains its Qashqai crossover, with 19,985 units sold last month. The Qashqai is followed by the Juke and the Micra.

Nissan’s new C-segment car, the Pulsar, has made its way into the hands of 3,422 customers – which means there is a lot of room for improvement.
