While this is not the first time we see supercars rendered as base-spec models, it’s still an unusual sight. Imagine a world in which base versions of supercars would be delivered like this!

Fortunately, that’s not going to happen, but it doesn’t stop some people from using their imagination and their computer skills.

Photoshop ace X-Tomi was curious to see what the new Ferrari 488 GTB would look like with steel rims and black bumpers so he came up with these two renderings. Other budget details include the black plastic mirror caps, sills and door handles.

But despite these ugly details that were forced upon it, the Ferrari 488 GTB still manages to look the part. I guess that’s what happens when a design is bulletproof – nothing can ruin it, not even some cheap plastic parts.
