If the name Ozan Biron doesn’t ring a bell, then his directorial work with the BMW M4 Aircraft Carrier spot surely will, and now he’s back with another action-packed ad featuring the Dodge Challenger Hellcat for Pennzoil.
While the goal is to promote Pennzoil’s synthetic motor oil, the 90-second spot, or rather, the short film, works on so many different levels with the madcap 707-horsepower Challenger Hellcat taking first row seat.
Obviously, not everything is real, and we’re referring to the scene where four helicopters airlift a large platform with the Hellcat burning its tires like there’s no tomorrow, but we’re absolutely fine with that.
And if you still have that feeling that this ad would have better served Dodge directly than Pennzoil, just think about this; would you have ever purposely watched a spot focusing on motor oil?
