The BMW M5 F10 is already one of the world’s fastest saloons. It will get from 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.3 seconds and hold its own against some of the fastest supercars money can buy. But is that enough?

Well, German tuner G-POWER definitely thinks not. After all, if you want to make noise nowadays, you better get yourself a lot more than the 560 HP and 680 Nm of peak torque that the M5 usually leaves the factory with.

The G-POWER M5 (or G5M Bi-Turbo) is nothing short of a beast, rated at 740 HP and 975 Nm of torque. It’s top speed? “More than 300 km/h”. And that’s quoting their facebook page.

There’s nothing like hearing a car maker or a tuner say “more than”. It means that thing is so fast, heck, they won’t even bother working out its precise top speed.

This car is in fact on the same performance level as the very first G-POWER M5/M6 HURRICANES – which if you remember had V10 engines. The 975 Nm of peak torque even surpasses that of the HURRICANE.

Actually, the 800 HP E60 M5 HURRICANE had a top speed of 373 km/h (232 mph), which is absolutely insane. Are we safe to assume that the G5M Bi-Turbo can hit that same mark?

Hard to tell, since it’s down on power, but does have more torque and weighs less.

Looks-wise, we’ve got HURRICANE RR forged wheels, measuring 21″ front & back, wearing Michelin Super Sport tires, which is what you want to wear when you need all the grip in the world.
