Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca is a famed track in California, home to numerous races and the famed Corkscrew turn. The perfect place, of course, for a hot dog on wheels.

Mazda and the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile people staged a stunt in Monterey, Calif. at the raceway, getting the “fast food” on two laps of the track Wednesday.

According to Mazda Raceway PR:

The Wienermobile had been on display at the Casa Munras Hotel & Spa in Monterey earlier in the day before it was driven to Mazda Raceway by its crew of Hotdoggers. Mazda Raceway CEO/GM Gill Campbell then paced the Wienermobile around the 2.238-mile track in her Mazda MX-5, providing the photograph and video opportunity for local media and raceway staff.

About 7,100 Facebook likes later and the Wienermobile was going down the plunging turns. Not like the Wienermobile hasn’t seen action before.

Head over to the Monterey County Herald for a shot of a Miata and the Wienermobile going around Laguna Seca, which is kind of awesome really.
