Eleanor Holmes Norton is the delegate from Washington DC, a non-voting member of the United States House of Representatives, and who now wins an award for terrible parking jobs.

Someone sent this video of Norton, who’s been in office since 1991, to Roll Call, where she’s trying to park her Ford C-Max head-on in what looks like a diagonal parking space near her office. An aide gets out of the passenger-side of the car, then Norton gets out from behind the driver’s seat before turning going back to her car. But she doesn’t fix her incorrect parking job and instead leaves.

“If she leaves like that, then it’s the worst parking job I’ve ever witnessed,” someone also says in the footage.

One person is heard in the footage as saying that she hit the Nissan Xterra next to her repeatedly. But Roll Call contacted Norton’s office, which denied this.

“After the Congresswoman parked her car, we assessed the cars on either side to see if there was any damage. We could not find any,” a Norton aide assured HOH. “But we left a note with a business card so the congresswoman could be contacted in case we missed any.”

Still, this isn’t a good look for any elected official. Even if she can speak, but not vote, on the House floor.
